Job summary

Genesis in Scarborough, ME is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in a skilled nursing setting. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver efficient nursing care and help achieve positive clinical outcomes for short-term rehabilitation and long-term residents.

You will collect data, participate in assessments and care planning, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff, in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical/vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
