Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills required (North Dakota ND) via board-approved program or IV Therapy course.
• Pre-licensure program with supervised clinical across life span or 400+ hours as LPN at another facility.
• Unencumbered LPN license in state nursing board; maintain competencies and certifications.
• Completes required CEU and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Document resident care, medications and outcomes.
• Collaborate with RN/APRN/physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure health, comfort and safety of residents.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication.
