Orlando Health Medical Group – South Lake Urology in Clermont, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide ambulatory care under supervision of a provider. You will support RNs and physicians, perform routine nursing tasks, document vital signs, and educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, FL LPN license or NLC, current BLS, and one year of LPN experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• One (1) year of LPN experience preferred (physician practice/urology experience a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates clinical competence in patient care delivered in the ambulatory setting.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the provider and within the LPN scope of practice.
• Obtains and documents vital signs, patient history, and chief complaint accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Assists physicians and providers with minor in-office procedures, examinations, and specimen collection.
• Provides patient education and instructions regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintains clinical equipment, supplies, and sterile fields as appropriate for office procedures.
• Maintains a safe and clean clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and Orlando Health policies.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and care team members.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
