Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Willing to learn cardiac care; prior cardiac experience preferred.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policies.
• Assess physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Reinforce patient and family education, discharge planning, and support throughout hospitalization.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to address patient needs proactively.
• Participate in unit-based decision-making and provide input for performance evaluations.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students, fostering a positive learning environment.
