Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Nashua Crossings in Nashua, NH. The position is full-time with evening shifts (2p-10p) and offers hourly pay between $32 and $36.

You will deliver skilled nursing care in a warm, home-like setting and collaborate with a supportive team to ensure resident well-being, safety, and comfort. Previous elderly-care experience is preferred and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• LPN license and CPR certification are required.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with the elderly in care settings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, document, and communicate residents’ status accurately.
• Observe and report significant changes in health and behavior to the care team.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants and guide care delivery.
• Coordinate care with community providers using an effective case management process.
• Balance service needs with resident independence and safety.
• Recognize elder abuse or neglect and report per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup as needed.

Nashua Crossings is looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team!

Full Time Evenings 2p-10p

LPN: $32-36/HR

RN: $34.50-38.50/HR

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
