Job summary

Genacross Lutheran Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Assisted Living community. This part-time day shift (7 am–7 pm) role includes supervising Resident Aides, administering medications, and coordinating care with the care team to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

Candidates should have an Ohio LPN license, 1–2 years in long-term care or assisted living preferred, and strong communication skills. Benefit options and a supportive, faith-based environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN license.
• 1–2 years of long-term care or assisted living experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to lead, prioritize, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Resident Aides to ensure quality care delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor resident health (vitals, intake/output, assessments).
• Assist residents with ADLs while supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Process physician orders, lab results, and admissions documentation.
• Complete accurate charting and ensure timely documentation.
• Maintain infection control standards and follow safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and follow disaster preparedness procedures.

Pay: $25-$29.50/hour + $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS
based on shift and weekend differentials & attendance incentives

What You'll Do as an LPN - Assisted Living:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Assisted Living community, you will provide high-quality resident care while serving as a leader to Resident Aides on your assigned unit.
