Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. in Mt. Morris, NY is hiring 2 LPNs for evening shifts (2:00 PM–10:00 PM), requiring a minimum of four evenings per week and every other weekend.

You will provide outstanding patient care and support residents daily, following care plans and supervising assistants as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Required: current NY State LPN license, current CPR certification, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with compassion and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and evaluating direct nursing care; serves as Charge Nurse supervising CNAs
• Performs nursing activities for hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and mobility
• Transcribes orders and assists with medical rounds
• Observe and report changes in resident conditions to RN Supervisor/physician
• Develops and implements resident care plans with multidisciplinary team
• Supports other therapies through restorative nursing measures
• Performs treatments per physician's orders and care plans
• Documents observations accurately and reports to appropriate sources
• Applies comfort and safety measures for residents
• Administers medications per policy, including controlled substances

JOIN OUR TEAM! We currently have 2 openings for skilled LPNs in the Mt. Morris, NY. Must commit to a minimum of 4 evening shifts a week (2:00PM-10:00PM) and every other weekendGREAT PAY!! You will provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis. To do well in this role you should have your state nursing license, strong work ethic and great communication skills.

LPN Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning and evaluating direct nursing care of residents. Serves as a Charge Nurse supervising the work of certified nursing assistants.
• Performs nursing activities which contribute to maintenance of the resident's personal hygiene; meeting the nutritional needs of the residents; maintenance or restoration of normal elimination processes; maintenance or restoration of corrective body alignment and body tissue.
• Transcribes physician's orders and assist with medical rounds.
• Observes and reports changes in resident conditions accurately and reports changes as required to the RN Supervisor and attending physician.
• Assists in the development and implementation of resident care plans and in coordinating the multidisciplinary plan of care with all other services.
• Supports the efforts of other therapies by effectively carrying out restorative nursing measures established in conjunction with the respective therapies.
• Performs treatments and other nursing measures as indicated by the physician's orders and the resident plan of care.
• Accurately documents observations and reports them to appropriate sources as indicated.
• Effectively applies comfort and safety measures to meet resident's needs.
• Administers medications to residents according to established policy and procedure, including controlled substances.
