Perimeter Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our behavioral health team in Waynesville, MO. The role focuses on compassionate care for adolescents in a residential setting, with opportunities to grow in psychiatric nursing.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care, and support residents and their families while maintaining safety and therapeutic environments.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri PN license.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to adolescents in residential behavioral health.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Complete timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, case managers, and nursing staff to coordinate care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Promote a trauma-informed therapeutic environment.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families.
• Mentor and support nursing teammates and contribute to a positive culture.

What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide compassionate nursing care while serving as an essential member of our multidisciplinary treatment team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes in condition to the treatment team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, case managers, and nursing staff to coordinate care
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Promote a safe, therapeutic, trauma-informed treatment environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Mentor and support fellow nursing team members while contributing to a positive team culture
• Advocate for resident safety, dignity, and quality care

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri Licensed Practice Nurse (PN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current CPR certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
• Pediatric or adolescent nursing experience
• Residential treatment or inpatient psychiatric experience
