Job summary

The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Center is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our team. Daily pay is available, with shifts from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am.

Licensed LPNs in New York State with strong clinical skills and teamwork are invited to apply for a role that supports resident independence and high-quality care in a 158-bed facility with a modern rehabilitation gym.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an LPN in New York State.
• Clinical nursing knowledge and regulatory standards.
• A team player, cooperative with co-workers of all disciplines.
• Able to supervise unit leadership in the absence of the Unit Manager.
• Able to communicate with physicians, supervisors and staff effectively.
• Must be computer literate and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel assigned to a specific shift.
• Communicates and applies policies, practices, procedures, objectives, and goals necessary for attainment of excellent resident care.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality of resident information.
• Able to assume unit leadership role in the absence of the Unit Manager.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Center is a facility with 158 beds and is proud of their state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym servicing 60 + short term beds. Our The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and would provide an excellent setting for learning and growth.
