Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time or per diem positions in South Glastonbury, Connecticut. As an LPN, you will ensure the well-being and comfort of residents by providing direct nursing care and administering medications. This role involves working with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and support Certified Nurse Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.

  • Supervise and support Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs).
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

LPN for Part time or Per Diem

What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well‑being and comfort of our residents. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and oversee the implementation of care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
  • Supervise and support Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering care
