Job summary

Milford Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Milford, Connecticut team on a part-time basis. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and monitor residents’ health in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers flexible weekend and evening shifts, with opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and a supportive work environment focused on compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Valid state LPN license required.
• Compassionate, empathetic patient care approach.
• Interest in nursing the aged and chronically ill.
• Strong clinical skills including medication administration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Supervise and support CNAs in delivering care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.

Part-Time

Open shifts:

• 7a- 3pm (8 hours) every other Saturday or every other Sunday
• 3pm - 11pm every other weekend
• 11pm - 7pm (16 hours)

What You\'ll Do:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and oversee the implementation of care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Supervising and supporting Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering care
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols

Rate of Pay

Starting from USD $35.50/Hr.
