Job summary

Water's Edge, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time 3pm-11pm or part-time days/evenings in Middletown, CT, to provide compassionate care to our aging residents. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.

Qualified LPNs must hold a valid state license, demonstrate excellent communication, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license and state licensure.
• Demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Supervise and support CNAs in delivering care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and oversee the implementation of care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
• Supervising and supporting Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering care
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
