Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center in New York is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care units. You will perform medication administration, vital signs, and resident care, while supervising CNAs and coordinating with physicians to support geriatric residents.

• Current LPN license required.
• Experience in geriatric or skilled nursing settings preferred.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
