Job summary

Citizens-Care- is seeking compassionate registered nurses to join our team in Maryland. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care with little supervision and a calm, patient-centered approach.

Full- and part-time openings are available, with evening and night shifts. Must hold a MBON or multi-state license and BLS, and influenza vaccination is required. We offer benefits such as 401(k), health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MBON or multi-state nursing license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate required.
• Annual influenza vaccine required.
• Experience as a licensed nurse is expected.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's condition and assess needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, injections, etc.) and fill in patient charts.
• Adjust and administer medications per physician orders.
• Inspect facilities and maintain hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds).
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.
• Attend educational workshops and conferences to expand knowledge and capabilities.
