Job summary

Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Franklin, TN is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN positions. You will carry out treatment under supervision of the Occupational Therapist, adhering to plan goals and providing timely progress notes.

Daily pay option is available and teamwork across disciplines is emphasized. Qualified candidates hold a valid COTA license and have strong documentation skills; geriatric care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
• Experience providing comprehensive treatment under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Long-term/geriatric care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong documentation and progress-note skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment per goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising OT via documentation.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Document patient progress weekly in progress notes.
• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation and adhere to facility policy.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full Time and PRN

NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for carrying out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide treatment by adhering to specific goals developed by the OT. As well, the COTA must provide feedback to the supervision occupational therapist via documentation or in any other method required by facility policy.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
