Job summary

Shore Pointe Care Center in Eatontown, NJ seeks a reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. You will provide daily patient care and physical support, with 8-hour shifts that include mornings, evenings, and nights; every other weekend required. New grads are welcome and will receive training.

Responsibilities include charting, vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and family communication to ensure quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• LPN license in New Jersey is required.
• Experience in Long-Term/Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, HR, etc.).
• Monitor patient progress and identify medication side-effects.
• Maintain patient charts and monitor fluid intake/output.
• Assist with daily activities (feeding, bathing, etc.).
• Administer injections and prescribed medications; wound care.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients.
• Communicate with families regarding care and discharge instructions.

Job description

Shore Pointe Care Center is looking to hire reliable and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses(LPN) to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate would be a nurse that is able to provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis.

We offer flexible scheduling with 8 hours shifts including morning, evening, and night positions

Working every other weekend is required, all shifts are available

New Grad's Welcome - Willing to train.

Responsibilities:

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately

• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.

• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.

• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts

• Assist patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.

• Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks

• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned

• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed

• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Qualifications:

• LPN licensed in the State of New Jersey

• Long-Term/Skilled Nursing Facility Experience Preferred

• Familiarity with PCC
