Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Day shift, 7a-7p, at our Chattanooga, TN location. This full-time position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide high-quality patient care, monitor and report changes in conditions, supervise CNAs, and support the care plan in accordance with state regulations and Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions.
• Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
• Deliver quality nursing care and uphold Life Care standards.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
