Qualifications

• Current Illinois Nursing License is required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services and activities.
• Make written and oral reports and manage admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure nursing services meet residents’ needs.
• Monitor safety and proper use of equipment and supplies by nursing staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
