Job summary

The Waters is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our integrated care team focused on resident well-being. You will provide hands-on nursing, build meaningful relationships with residents and families, and lead unlicensed team members with dedication to quality care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing by the state.
  • Experience with general nursing and elder care.
  • Knowledge of the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the LPN.
  • Ability to maintain information as confidential and private.
  • Ability to teach policies/procedures under appropriate direction.
  • Ability to function as a primary caregiver and perform duties of unlicensed team members.
  • Ability to remain calm, kind, and patient during difficult circumstances and emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on nursing care for residents.
  • Develop close relationships with residents and families.
  • Lead unlicensed caregivers and volunteers.
