Job summary

BJC Home Care seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate patient care in the Missouri region. The role covers IV management, under RN supervision, and participation in care planning during home visits.

You’ll handle assessments, patient education, and discharge planning, with flexible 40-hour weeks, weekend rotation, and on-call nights. Valid LPN license and IV certification preferred; Missouri registration required.

• Implements treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse.

• Assists in developing and updating the plan of care with regard to the patient’s age and developmental needs.
• Implements plan of care with regard to the patient’s age and developmental needs.

Schedule

• 40 hour work week, shift flexible
• Weekend rotation: generally every 4th
• Paid on-call nights: 4–6 per month
• 2 holidays per year
• Servicing the BJC Home Care service area

Overview

BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.
