Job summary

Froedtert Health in Wisconsin–Wauwatosa seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver patient care within the LPN scope under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This on-site role follows Night shift 19:00–07:30 with holidays and rotating weekends.

Requirement: graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program with current Wisconsin LPN license and BLS within 90 days of hire; one year of inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing is required.
• Current Wisconsin LPN license is required.
• AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider) or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
• One year of inpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse within the LPN scope.
• Support nursing tasks during the night shift (19:00–07:30).
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations.

Job Summary: Provides patient care within LPN scope of practice under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Experience Description: Clinical competence and experience in the care of target patient populations specific to area of employment. One year of experience in an inpatient setting preferred.

Education Description: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing is required.

Licensure Description: Current state of Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse License required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
