Job summary

ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, provides quality services to empower individuals and support independence. This role administers prescribed medical treatment under RN or physician direction and helps individuals live well in home and community settings.

Requirements include an Associates degree in nursing or state certification, plus at least one year of nursing experience with the population served. LPN/LVN licensure is required; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or state nursing certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing with population served.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure for state of residence.
• CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS, BBP or ACT training as required by state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care and medical treatment to individuals.
• Completes health assessments and inputs health diagnoses to RN/physician.
• Monitors and records medications; liaises with pharmacy; administers medications.
• Oversees staff who administer medication and conducts quality checks on records.
• Provides emergency coverage and maintains confidentiality.
• Coordinates with external agencies for consistent treatment.
• May coordinate household activities and transport to appointments.
• Performs other related duties as required.
