Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking an LPN II to support the Medical Group by providing clinical and administrative support to ensure quality patient care and efficient office operations.

The role involves assisting physicians during examinations, administering injections, basic lab work, triaging calls, and coordinating patient flow in a fast-paced clinic. Onsite, days, full-time with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active LPN license is required.
• Medical Office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support physician's office healthcare team.
• Answer phones and assist with patient communications.
• Screen patient charts prior to appointments.
• Interview patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during patient examinations.
• Administer injections and treatments as ordered.
• Perform necessary laboratory work and testing.
• Follow up on test orders and communicate results to physicians and patients.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Maintain medical equipment and monitor clinical supply inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Status: Non-Exempt

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No

Remote Work: Not eligible (Onsite only)

Role Overview

Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

• Licensed Practical Nurse experience

Preferred:

• Medical Office experience

Licensure / Certification

Required:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
