Job summary

Mary Rutan Health seeks a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Goble Center for Women and Children in Bellefontaine, OH. Day shift with weekend/holiday coverage. You will provide direct patient care, communicate changes in clinical status, and adhere to service standards while maintaining licensure and BLS certification.

New hires must complete telemetry classes within six months. Prior Meditech and EMR experience plus strong interpersonal skills are preferred to coordinate care across

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

• Be able to function calmly in unexpected crisis and floating to other areas as needed.

Job Summary -

Provides direct patient care. Communicates with physicians, nurse leaders, registered nurses, co-workers, as appropriate related to changes in patient's clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology. Understands and be willing to adhere to the service excellence standards established for Mary Rutan Hospital. Demonstrates effective communication skills necessary to interact efficiently with all customers. Be able to effectively function in unexpected crisis in a calm, confident manner. Be willing to adjust schedule to meet unit needs, float to and work in other areas as assigned and accept low census as needed. Work required weekends and holidays. Adhere to all staffing and personnel policies. Keep all required licensures and certifications current.

Regulatory Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


• Current State of Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
