Job summary

Nursing South, a leading home healthcare agency serving Miami-Dade, seeks dedicated LPNs to join our care teams. As an LPN, you will provide nursing care per physician plans and coordinate patient care under the DON’s direction.

Expect regular visits, insulin care, IV therapy, and high-tech wound care. Flexible shifts, driving required, and a strong focus on accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of Florida.
• Level 2 Background Check with AHCA.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proof of Citizenship.
• Social Security Card.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per physician treatment plans and coordinate patient care under DON supervision.
• Supervise and perform regular visits, including insulin management and wound care.
• Document patient care observations, interpretations, and evaluations on the day services are rendered.
• Deliver skilled nursing within the licensed scope of practice for LPNs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret health data; document nurse diagnoses.
• Record clinical notes and update the patient’s permanent record.
• Reevaluate and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Perform all LPN duties related to home health care.

As a Licensed Professional Nurse, you play a crucial role as a valued member of our patient treatment team. Your responsibilities include providing care in accordance with established physician treatment plans, all while actively participating in the coordination of patient care under the direction of the DON.

• Wound Care, Wound Care High Tech Certified
• IV/ High Tech Certified, HIV Tech Certified

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nurse diagnoses.
• Recorded all clinical and progress notes and entered them into the patient's permanent record files.
• Plan of care reevaluated needs and revised plan of care as necessary.
• All LPN duties related to home health care.
