Job summary

Unity Health in Searcy, AR is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. The LPN will perform nursing duties under RN supervision, gather patient data, administer medications, and participate in the care planning process to support positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and holds a current Arkansas licensure as a licensed practical nurse.
• Orientation period of 2–3 weeks under RN supervision.
• Proficient in applying the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process, including data collection, assessment and care planning.
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered by the physician/NP.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Serve as a resource nurse when oriented under supervision.
• Respect patient age, cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs in care delivery.
