Job summary

California Terrace is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team in Chicago, Illinois. You will administer medications, document according to policy, and oversee nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality resident care.

You will receive supervision and collaborate with physicians and family to identify changes in patient condition, guiding timely interventions and reporting. The role emphasizes resident-centered care and professional standards.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse with current LPN license.
Experience supervising nursing staff preferred.
Strong clinical skills and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy.
Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders.
Follow established procedure for charting and reporting all reports of incidents/accidents (patients & employees).
Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician, and family.
Supervise nursing assistants and provide direct care to patients.
