Job summary

Sarah Reed Senior Living in Erie, PA is seeking a licensed nurse to provide nursing care for Personal Care residents in Zurn Pavilion, Reed Manor, and Reed Terrace. The role involves monitoring PCAs/Med Techs, answering call bells, and documenting resident status and changes in care plans.

Administering medications per physician orders, coordinating with families, and ensuring adherence to policies are key duties. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with hourly pay of $25.35–$31.16.

Qualifications

• Gerontology experience preferred.
• Continuing education as required to retain license and stay abreast of changes in the profession.
• Knowledge of geriatric and restorative nursing care.
• Knowledge of governmental laws for Nursing Practice, including Abuse Policies and Procedures.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors PCAs and Med Techs to ensure quality resident care.
• Answers call bells and assists in resident comfort.
• Coordinates/communicates job performance for evaluations and daily care.
• Administers medications and treatments per MAR/TAR; enters physician orders.
• Communicates new orders to families and secures medications.
• Documents care, incidents, admissions, transfers and changes in care.
• May work in Skilled Nursing Facility as needed.
