Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Clinton, North Carolina, seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Mary Gran unit. The role includes directing nursing services, delegating tasks under RN supervision, and monitoring patient conditions in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities include observing patients, notifying physicians of emergencies, implementing orders, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school graduate.
Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current, valid NC Board of Nursing license and proof of license renewal every other year.
Willing to work as charge nurses, and work as needed during emergencies to assure adequate coverage.
Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
CPR certified yearly.
Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

Direct nursing services for unit/hall under RN supervision.
Delegate duties to nurses and non-professional staff and monitor performance.
Observe patients for signs of adverse changes in condition.
Notify attending physician of emergencies and update orders as instructed by physicians.
Perform other duties as assigned by the RN or supervisor.
