Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our clinic in Arkansas. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, update records, and coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires AR LPN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days of start, and strong communication skills. A compact-state license is acceptable, with 6 months of clinic experience minimum; 1 year preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold AR LPN license.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• Preferred: 1 year clinic experience.
• Minimal: 6 months clinic experience.
• Proficient in patient data management and chart updates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the health team.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
• Assesses clinical needs of patients and updates records as needed.
• Demonstrates responsible decision making in planning, providing, and delegating care.
• Maintains two-way communication with peers, staff, physicians and administration.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Educates patient/family about procedures, medications, nutrition and health maintenance.
• Maintains exam rooms and ensures cleanliness; prepares supplies.
• Uses patient data management system to ensure accurate records and NHS interface.
• Documents chart changes and completes paperwork timely.
• Adheres to Arkansas Nurse Practice Act and professional standards.
