Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois as LPN and CPR certified.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Must be able to manage a busy patient care workload and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient visits, record vital signs, and perform point-of-care testing.
• Check allergies, reconcile medications, and document per physician orders.
• Schedule appointments and track hospital admissions and referrals; maintain accurate logs.
• Answer calls, relay patient information to RN/provider, and determine need for visits or ER if necessary.
• Obtain prior authorizations from insurance as directed.
