Job summary

Heritage House, part of Trinity Health, is seeking an LPN to join our Weekend Night Shift team. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7pm–7am, with no weekday commitment.

Earn an elevated flat rate and qualify for Full-Time benefits while working 24 hours weekly. You will administer nursing care under the supervision of an RN, assist with treatments, administer medications, and monitor IV therapy in accordance with the established plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an LPN in New York.
• 1 year of LPN experience preferred; will train right candidate.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to engage within a team setting.
• Passion to learn, grow and develop in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care to residents under RN supervision.
• Assists with treatments and procedures per care plan.
• Collects data and contributes to plan of care.

What you will do

Administers nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Assists with treatments and procedures and carries out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the RN collects data about residents and determines priorities is resident care based upon identified needs and goals. Contributes to the plan of care through collaboration and effective communication with the RN and other members of the healthcare team. Under the direction of the RN and within the scope of practice, complies with established nursing policies, procedures and standards to provide safe, quality care to residents. Administers medications and monitors IV therapy as ordered and according to established policies and standards.

What you will need

Required: A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of New York

Preferred: 1 year of experience or more as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills Ability to communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment Ability to engage within a team setting Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range

Pay Range: $24.00 - $36.50 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
