Benchmark Senior Living's Chestnut Park at Cleveland Circle in Boston is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like environment. You will join a dedicated team that supports residents and fosters lasting relationships with both associates and residents.

We offer full-time schedules (7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm) with a competitive hourly rate of $40–$44. Responsibilities include assessing residents, coordinating care, and mentoring staff; LPN

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with the elderly in paid or volunteer roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report changes to care team and physician per state regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants in job aspects.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with promoting resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Schedule - full time 7am-3pm or 3pm - 11pm

Hourly rate - $40/hr - $44/hr

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
