Job summary

Avery’s House LLC in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide recovery-focused nursing care. You will implement physician-prescribed treatments, administer medications, and support patients through admission, care plans, and discharge.

Responsibilities include collaborating with a team, documenting progress, and ensuring safety through crisis de-escalation. Must have an LPN license, CPR/FA, and Arizona fingerprint clearance; 21+ with driver’s license.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited LPN program and current LPN licensure in state of operation.
Current CPR/FA certificate.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
One year of experience in related field, Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred).
Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, and knowledge of psychotropic medication.
Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates Avery’s House mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with clients.
Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with clients.
Provides nursing care and assists in the welcoming, admission, and discharge process.
Collects data relevant to client’s care; develops and implements nursing care plans.
Administers medication management policies and procedures.
Documents the progress of clients toward their recovery plan goals.
Coordinates and participates in counting medications and giving report at the beginning and end of each shift.
