Job summary

Genesis in High Point, NC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for part-time and full-time roles in long-term care. Under supervision of an RN, you will deliver efficient nursing care and help achieve positive patient outcomes.

We offer shifts 7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm with $4- $5.25 shift differentials and walk-in interviews Mon-Fri 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and tuition discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure for LPN.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed in a skilled nursing center or as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN delivers nursing care and supports positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data and report changes in condition.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
