Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, develops and implements individualized nursing care plans.
• Assists in orientation and supervision of nursing staff, and participates in daily unit operations.
• Performs direct resident assessments and updates care plans as needed.
• Supervises and coordinates nursing personnel to ensure care complies with State and Federal regulations.
• Assists physicians during rounds and ensures orders are communicated and carried out correctly.
• Participates in the training and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Maintains leadership and effective communication to resolve conflicts and manage emergencies.
• Prepares daily assignment of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks.
