Qualifications

• Must have an active unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially in correctional settings.
• Current CPR certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide wound care and change dressings.
• Support documentation and care planning.
• Promote hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment.

Skills

Active unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice

1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred)

Active CPR certification

Strong clinical and communication skills

Adaptability in high-pressure settings

Compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care

Education
