Job summary

Ybor City Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tampa, FL is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our 80-bed skilled nursing team. This full-time, hourly role involves delivering resident-centered nursing care, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed by the State or Multistate License.
• CPR Certification required
• Two years nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maitains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Mantains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.
