Community Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our on-site clinical team in Hamilton, NY.

The role involves assisting with the plan of care, ensuring patient privacy, and supporting a range of nursing duties in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have current NYS LPN licensure and BLS certification, with the ability to manage pre-visit preparation, vital signs, injections, venipuncture, EKGs, and CLIA-waived testing as part of routine

Qualifications

• Current NYS licensure as LPN.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Assists patients in achieving identified goals by carrying out prescribed plan of care.
• Demonstrates patient advocacy by ensuring privacy, safety and confidentiality.
• Maintains knowledge and skills by participating in relevant educational programs.
• Responds flexibly to changing demands in the clinical setting.
• Performs pre-visit preparations and coordinates required paperwork and tests before visits.
• Maintains infection control by cleaning rooms, instruments and equipment and restocking supplies.
• Performs clinical tasks including vital signs, patient prep, medication verification, phlebotomy, EKGs and basic lab procedures.
