Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI is seeking an LPN to join the emergency department team. Under the direction of an RN, the LPN delivers routine nursing care, monitors vital signs, administers medications, and supports other caregivers to ensure high‑quality patient experiences.
This position requires RI license and at least one year of relevant experience, with a strong commitment to safety and compassionate care.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions as a member of the emergency department healthcare team while delivering excellent care and exemplary customer service. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) the LPN provides routine nursing care, observes patients’ vital signs and general health, and assists other caregivers as directed. He/she provides supervision and delegation of appropriate tasks to nursing assistants and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) within the assigned care team. Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the highest level of service is provided within applicable scope of practice.
