Job summary

Brookdale in Jacksonville, FL is seeking compassionate nursing staff to help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents, following prescribed care plans and documenting responses to care.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license is required per state regulations; nurses administer medications and support care teams. Brookdale offers comprehensive health, retirement plans and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license may be required depending on state rules.
Experience in long-term care or elder care is preferred.
Ability to document care plans and communicate effectively with residents and families.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment in the best interest of residents.
Monitor care of residents according to treatment plans prescribed by a physician as well as documenting responses to care plans.
Nurses also administer medications, ensure cleanliness and security of medicine supply room and adhere to company systems, procedures and processes.
LPN or LVN License Required per state regulations.
