Healthier Mississippi People is seeking an LPN to assist in providing direct patient care and to administer treatments per current plans and supervisor directions. The role supports accurate record-keeping, patient education, and active participation in committees to elevate care quality.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety, infection control, and teamwork within a medical center environment, with responsibilities extending to documentation and family education as part of ongoing care.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care by executing and administering treatments and procedures directed by supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and other staff any patient issues and concerns.
• Maintains accurate patient records (e.g. charts, schedules, procedures, medication/treatment history, etc.).
• Educates patients and family members in accordance with established plan of care.
• Serves on at least one nursing council, hospital or medical center committee, task force, or project team to improve patient care or work area demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
• Practices safety, environmental, and infection control methods.
