Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a corrections setting. Duties include administering medications, maintaining patient records, and supporting treatment and direct patient care as part of the team.

Requirements include 1 year of LPN experience (corrections preferred) and an active BLS certification. IV certification within 90 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior LPN experience required, corrections experience preferred.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamental nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Administer medications and maintain patient records in accordance with policies.
• Assist in the treatment and direct care of patients within the multidisciplinary team.
