Job summary

Northside Hospital currently seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision within an Atlanta-area setting. You will participate in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for an assigned patient group in alignment with hospital policies.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, current Georgia LPN licensure, and American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of experience as an LPN (preferred).
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital policies.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
