Job summary

Centurion Health is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide holistic nursing care at the Western Illinois Correctional Center in Mount Sterling. The successful candidate will work under the direction of Registered Nurses, responding to various health needs of incarcerated patients.

This is a full-time position with day shifts (7am–3pm). The starting pay rate is $35/hr, and the role offers several benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
• Active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
