Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Polk Correctional Institution in Polk City, FL. The role covers 3-12 hour day shifts, 7am-7pm with rotating weekends, under supervision of RN and medical staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an active LPN license or ability to obtain, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance. This is a day shift role in a correctional health setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff oversight.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and psychiatric staff to deliver care.
