Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Danville, KY is hiring full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for the DAY shift 7:00PM - 7:00AM. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered and pay rates reflect experience and shift differential.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, document accurately, and supervise nursing assistants during your shift. Our Benefits Package includes Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, tuition assistance and more under Signature

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
