Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. Daily pay option is available as we deliver a high-quality, five-star rehabilitation environment for short-term patients under new ownership.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering nursing care under RN supervision, ensuring shift-to-shift continuity, and participating in resident and family teaching.

Qualifications

• Current/valid Florida LPN license/registration.
• Previous experience in long term care preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan and implement the nursing care of residents within the facility under direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Ensures continuity of care of residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and support staff members.
• Participates in resident and family teaching.
• Serves as resident advocate with focus on the facility's mission.
