St. Bernards Healthcare seeks a Practical Nurse to provide direct and/or indirect patient care under RN supervision in a hospital setting. This role involves assisting with assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, and documenting conditions and treatments.

Prerequisites include completion of an approved Practical Nurse Program and current Arkansas licensure. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and readiness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Skill and proficiency in applying the technical skills of practical nursing, acquired through completion of an approved Practical Nurse Program.
• Knowledge of human growth and development for assessment and care appropriate to patient age.
• Current licensure or permit as a Practical Nurse in the state of Arkansas; meets minimum standards for pharmacy exam.
