Job summary

MEDIKO is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting. You will administer medications, monitor patients, assist with treatments, and document care in accordance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Current valid LPN/LVN license in applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, monitoring, and treatments.
• Administer medications and document care.
• Conduct initial screenings and ongoing care.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams.
• Educate patients and facility staff on basic health topics.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and the unit remains organized.
